For Kent Schoonover, building guitars grew naturally out of a lifelong connection to music and instruments.
That journey eventually led to his first resophonic guitar in 1992.
More than three decades later, Kent still builds instruments by hand, drawing on years of experience, experimentation, and an understanding that no two players – or two pieces of wood – are exactly alike.
Each guitar represents hours of careful work and hundreds of individual decisions. And behind every decision is the same question:
